Mercury in retrograde...

It's that time again...

Mercury in Retrograde is upon us. So, if things don't go the way you planned, travel plans get botched up, communications go awry, and routine things have to be done more than once to get it right...you can blame it on Mercury. Whatever you do, try not to plan on making any major business deals, sign any important papers, bring your car into the shop, get any type of surgery done during this time. There's a good chance that it will have to be redone. It's not a definite that things will get botched up, but don't be surprised if it does.

Some retrogrades are worse than others. There are times that I can go through a retrograde hardly feeling any of its effects. Then there are those that hit starting the 2 weeks before the retrograde and after. So far, for me...this has been a mild one. Then again, it has only been 1 week. It'll go direct back on the 16th of August and the planet will return to it's usual self on the 30th of August.

More baby pandas!

I read yesterday that Bai Yun from the San Diego Zoo is pregnant again with twins! When Mei Sheng was born 2 years ago, the other twin didn't make it.

Let's hope that the twins will be successful this time.

We're off...

We're off to our annual trip to Laguna Seca Raceway.  We've been making it every year for the past few years for the motorcycle races.  We didn't make it last year since we had so many things going on with the move and my brother's wedding.

We meant to leave this morning at around 9.  We had so much loose ends to tie up that we didn't end up leaving town until 1pm.

We're just about coming up to the 58 to Bakersfield.  We have the Xterra with the bike on the trailer.  We plan to hit San Luis Obispo for our stopover for tonight.

I'm blogging this as we're moving along on the road.  Being totally wireless absolutely ROCKS!!!!

Oh yeah...having XM Radio ain't too shabby either.
