More unpacking...

So, after being here in this house for about a month, there's still a whole shitload of unpacking to do. After brunch, I had the impulse to give the kitchen a good cleaning. I also managed to unpack 4 boxes worth of kitchen cabinet crap...aka...spice jars, canned foods, etc. Shit...I had totally forgotten that I had some of these...it was almost like Christmas.

The search continues...

After my unsuccessful quest in San Diego to find the perfect pair of cropped cargo pants that don't look like serious hi-waters on me, I decided to stop by Old Navy. After trying on about 15 pair of different pants, I finally found 2. It was frustrating to say the least, as I'm dealing with my own struggle. I also got some tank tops, a really cool linen jacket, and a pair of capri linen pants in a dark olive/brown color.

Totally tired...

But at least I had a good day yesterday. Walt had to be back in San Diego for a meeting, so I decided to tag along with him. While he's at the office, I was basically hanging out at the UTC mall.

I actually got there before opening and noticed that they were setting up something. It turned out it was a casting call for Extreme Makeover. People were already lining up before 9am. Throughout the day, there must've been around 1,000 people, at least, that lined up, hoping that they would get their big chance of the makeover of their dreams. I find this really sad...

Well, I was totally prepared to do my share of shopping yesterday, but as luck would have it...everytime I have my mind set on shopping, there's really nothing that really jumps out at me. I was in the search for a pair of cropped cargo pants. But since I'm five foot nothing...a pair of the cropped look more like high waters to me. I fucking hate being short!

We stopped by Erin's to pick up the rest of our stuff that she held for us when we were moving. On our drive back home last night, we managed to catch 2 shooting stars. It was too bad I didn't have a wish handy at the time. Is there a grace period on how much time you get to make that wish?
